Mission P rovide direct technical assistance to existing Cody businesses which affords those businesses the ability to become more stable, profitable and have the ability to expand their business in this community. The ABC committee is a key element in staying in touch with local businesses and facilitating strong local economic development efforts. While the attraction of new business and the solicitation of new business start-ups are important aspects of an overall economic development strategy, our community has spoken with the need for help so that our existing businesses will survive and prosper. 1. To demonstrate to local businesses that our community appreciates their contributions to the local economy. 2. To help existing businesses solve problems by providing available resources toward solutions. 3. To assist businesses in utilizing programs aimed at helping them become more competitive. 4. To anticipate future local business trends and pioneer strategies to address them. 5. To build community capacity to sustain growth and development. 6. To specifically identify those businesses poised to expand that need assistance to grow. 7. To develop collaborative relationships for participating in comprehensive long-range retention and expansion activities. 8. To identify opportunities to attract support businesses. 9. To be the catalyst for networking efforts among like-minded or shared industry focused businesses. 10.
