On March 27, 2018 Amber Simon-Power of Power Business Strategies explained how to use the INSIGHTS document. She described the data and trends within the 82414 zip code and how they compare on a State and National level.
The INSIGHTS luncheon was well attended and is quickly becoming a much anticipated event among our membership.

Economic Development in Northwest Wyoming
Bob Grady, a principal in Gryphon Investors and former Presidential Economic Advisor was the keynote speaker at our 3rd Annual Dinner. Mr. Grady highlighted the current state of the national and state economies, extolling the audience to think hard about how these events shape our future. His comments demonstrated why Wyoming excels above other states in many key categories for business and economic growth.
This year’s event saw over 170 in attendance along with several distinguished guests including: Secretary of State, Ed Murray; State Treasurer, Mark Gordon; and Superintendent of Public Instruction, Jillian Balow. As this year’s event was the 10th Anniversary of the Forward Cody program, special recognition was provided to 24 investor/members who had participated each year. Also acknowledged were Shawn Warner, Karl Butler and Jay Nielson who have served on the Board since the beginning.
After 3 years as serving as Chairman of the Board, Sandy Newsome stepped down and was replaced by Fred Bronnenberg. Glenn Ross stepped into the role of Vice-Chair and Loren Grosskopf remains as Treasurer.
Board members Kurt Hopkin and Tim Mahieu retired from the Board, being replaced by James Blair, Mark Crump, and Stefani Hicswa.
The Buffalo Bill Center of the West provided a beautiful venue for the event and a fantastic and meal.
